Welcome to our Mexi-Pino owned ice cream shop!
We (Gerardo & Zoya) founded Scoop N' Buns (est 2021) with one goal in mind: to bring something cool to the heart of Garland. It all started with an idea to transform an Old Thrift shop in Downtown Garland to a place where you can enjoy a cool and delicious dessert(s) with your family, specially if you're coming from a stroll from the shops of Downtown Garland or getting off from the train station, or simply want a dessert to treat yourself. We also opened a once storage area to a zen coffee shop (est 2024) called Cafe Frida- it is attached to our store (there's a hidden green wall in order to enter the shop!) If you are craving some caffeine boost or somewhere you can unwind doing online work or studying, this is the place to be! WHATS THE SCOOP?
At Scoop N' Buns, we strive to bring joy and provide in creating memories with families through our desserts and the shop we have transformed! Serving specialties like our homemade ice Cream nestled between freshly baked warm donuts. We pride ourselves on only carrying the highest-quality products. We source our donuts from a local Garland resident owned donut shop. We churn our in-house ice cream daily and rotate flavors weekly. Our specialty flavors includes ube, horchata, Mexican vanilla oreo, mango, some vegan flavors and more! Scoop N' Buns also carries variety baked desserts including Filipino-inspired and Mexican inspired flavors for some extra treats to bring back for your family or friends.
